What counts as a seat?

A seat is an internal user who works in PIM Gate — for example configuring sources, portals, rights and rules, or curating catalog views. Customers, suppliers and field sales using the portals never count as seats.

Are portal users really unlimited?

Yes. Portal end users are unlimited in every version, from S to XL. You pay for your team, not for your customers.

What happens if we exceed our SKU limit?

Nothing stops. You get 60 days of grace to move to the version that fits — no penalty and no retroactive charges.

Can we start with one portal or one module?

Yes. Start with one portal or one module, and add further modules later at list price.

Is there a trial or pilot?

We start with a demo on your use case. Pilot arrangements are available on request — talk to us.

What is the contract term?

Subscriptions run for one year with annual prepayment. Monthly payment is available at a surcharge.

In which currency do you invoice?

Our list prices are in EUR. CHF prices are reference values for customers in Switzerland.

Are prices including VAT?

No. All prices are excluding VAT.

What is a branded tenant?

A brand or country company under its own domain and branding. Each tenant includes a custom domain and certificate. Additional branded tenants are priced per year.

Do you offer a test environment?

Yes. A separate stage/test tenant on the same platform, bookable with a production subscription, at a percentage of the production price depending on capacity.

Can we change versions?

Yes. When your team or catalog grows, you move to the version that fits. Talk to us about the timing.

What happens to our data if we leave?

Your data remains yours. You can export it at any time through the REST API and versioned exports. Details are set out in the terms and the DPA.

Where is our data hosted?

In Germany (Hetzner, Falkenstein) by default. A Swiss data centre is available on request.

What is included in the price?

Hosting, operation, updates and backups. It's SaaS: we operate it; your team configures portals, rights and rules.

What does onboarding cost?

Onboarding starts at €5,000. PIM migration and custom development are quoted on request.

How much will the Commerce layer cost?

PIM Gate Commerce is coming soon. Pricing will be published with the launch — join the waitlist to hear first.
