02 · Viewer & metadata
Every file described the moment it arrives.
When assets come in with a source, PIM Gate reads their technical metadata — file type, size, dimensions or page count — and links each file to the products it belongs to. The media viewer shows images and documents in context, next to the product and its hierarchy, so teams check what a customer will receive before it goes out.

03 · Storage & delivery
Stored in the EU. Delivered only through the gate.
Assets are kept in object storage in Germany, with a Swiss data centre available on request. Nobody reaches a file directly: every download passes the same entitlement check as the product data. Storage is included in every version and extends in simple steps.

05 · Asset entitlements
Same product, different files for different people.
A service technician needs the internal manual; a customer needs the data sheet and the drawing; a marketplace needs the images. Asset entitlements follow the same layers as product data — tenant, portal, role, market, category — and go one step further, down to the individual file. Nobody gets a document by accident.

06 · On the roadmap
Data sheets that write themselves from the record.
Hand-built data sheets are outdated the moment an attribute changes. On our roadmap: data sheets generated from the canonical record — per language and market, versioned with the product, regenerated when the data changes. Also planned: AI-suggested tags for images, always marked as automatic and reviewed before they count.
